Horseback tour in Kargaly Gorge among the famous apple and apricot orchards in the foothills of Ile Alatau mountains with stunning panoramic views to the Almaty city and snowcapped peaks, assisted by an experienced instructor and guide who will take you through the beautiful trails and talk about local attractions, culture and the role of horses in the life of Nomads. You will have two 1,5-hour horse-riding sessions with tea break in between and pleasant barbeque lunch after coming back to the stables.

The horse-riding complex is located near Karagaily village, 40-minute drive from the city center, what makes it easily accessible and attractive for citizens and guests of Almaty city.

Itinerary:

Almaty – Karagaily – Horse riding complex – Kargaly Gorge – Almaty.

Program Schedule:

08:20 – meeting the guide at your place, transfer to Kargaly gorge.

09:00 – arrival to the start point, preparation and meeting with horses. Short instructions from the guide about safety, features of the route and order of movement in the group.

09:30 – start moving along the route by ground hilly road among the apple gardens. You will make a circle around the gardens and see the most beautiful sceneries with view of Almaty city and Kargaly gorge.

11:00 – coming back to the stable, tea break.

11:40 – second 1,5-hour horse-riding session.

13:10 – coming back to the stables, barbecue.

14:30 – transfer back to the city.

15:10 – arrival to the city.
