About the tour:

One of the most extraordinary routes through the Chilean Patagonia – a true expedition to the end of the world. Our home will be a steel ocean yacht, our path – the wild fjords where mountains touch the sea. We’ll sail past glaciers descending into the ocean, waterfalls bursting from the cliffs, and silent bays surrounded by snow peaks. Every landing will be a new discovery – hiking through pristine valleys, feeling the power and harmony of untouched nature. This journey will take us around the legendary Cape Horn and through the Beagle Channel to Tierra del Fuego in Argentina.

Itinerary:

Punta Arenas (Chile) – Strait of Magellan – Chilean Patagonia – Cape Horn – Puerto Williams – Beagle Channel – Ushuaia (Argentina)

Program Schedule:

Day 1

Arrival and transfer to the hotel. After rest, we’ll explore the city and enjoy a welcome dinner with Chilean wine and local cuisine.

Day 2-11

We board the yacht, complete a safety briefing, and start our journey through the Magellan Strait. For ten unforgettable days, we’ll sail between snow-covered peaks, glaciers, quiet bays, and waterfalls. We’ll explore Alberto de Agostini National Park and witness the raw beauty of Patagonia. By the end of our voyage, we’ll round Cape Horn – the southernmost point of the South American continent, where two oceans meet.

Day 12

After passing Cape Horn, we’ll stop in Puerto Williams – the southernmost town in the world and take a walk along the Beagle Channel surrounded by dramatic mountain ridges.

Day 13

We cross the Beagle Channel and reach Ushuaia, Argentina. After disembarking, we’ll check into the hotel and celebrate our journey in a local bar.

Day 14

Departure. End of the program.

Clothing and equipment

Personal clothing and accessories:

Services included in the package:

1. Accommodation in the hotel in Punta Arenas (Day 1), hotel in Ushuaia (Days 13), twin cabin on yacht (Days 2–12)
2. All transfers according to the program. 
3. Meals indicated in the program in Punta Arenas and Ushuaia and four-time meals on the yacht. 
4. All environmental and ecological fees.
5. All documentation and permits for the sailing voyage. 
6. Drinks during sailing on the yacht.
7. Professional English-speaking trekking guide.

Services does not included in the package:

1. Rental of the hiking equipment.
2. Meals and drinks not indicated in the program and/or not included into the tour price.
3. Visa support and registration on the territory of Chile and Argentina, if required.
4. Personal expenses and other expenses not indicated in the program.
5. Insurance policy (mandatory).
6. Flights to Punta Arenas and from Ushuaia.

Please, note:

Best for intermediate and advanced hikers with previous hiking and trekking experience. 

Depending on weather conditions, the risk will be monitored continuously and the itinerary adjusted as needed.

When sailing and hiking, comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory. It must cover injuries and illnesses sustained in remote regions, sailing, hiking, trekking and air or sea evacuation to South America (Chile or Argentina).
